Mary Bryan Flach is an accomplished, retired, Business executive who, after the death of her mother in the fall of 2015, began painting. She is a Hall of Fame graduate of the University of Mississippi, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Marketing. Mary is a Certified Image/Color Consultant which influences her work. She resides in Natchez and truly loves her beautiful state of Mississippi. She and her husband visit our great Mississippi Gulf Coast several times a year. A published Illustrator, Mary’s preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolor, but she also paints occasionally with oil. She loves the vivid colors obtained with artists’ acrylic. Her work ranges from whimsical to folk art, still life, and more, often drawing from her childhood experiences in and around her hometown of Winona. As a child, her father owned the Spanish Bit Ranch in Carroll County, MS, where she spent much of her formative years. Her art reflects her love of the South. You may also see the influence of her Irish heritage. A world traveler, Mary has always been inspired by art from European countries. Mary believes her “later in life” gift really comes from God and as long as He allows, she intends to utilize it to His glory.
